are taiwan women spoiled bitches?

the title was a question. no need to be offended by my question. you can be offended by my answer.

yes, they are.

as an adult english teacher, i listen to a lot of answers to topic questions in my class. when the book gets around to love and relationships you always hear them saying the same shit:

" i want a guy who is tall, understands me, is responsible, etc"

the problem with this is they never really define what responsible is. from my experience, what they mean by responsible is "safe". they want some castrated man who never takes chances, never moves in a direction that might make them feel unsafe, never walks the path less chosen. they want a guy who is bent to their wishes for "the dream" ie, the house, the car, the baby, the whole nine yards.
nothing wrong with those things, except that they have become the "price for admission" so to speak, rather than the result of two people's love for one another.
then taiwan women always talk about how they want someone who understands them. by this, i take it to mean they want an extention of their spoiling family who will put up with their temper tantrums and stupidity. these women are basically in the market for either daddy or their older brother, someone who is used to their bullshit.
expecting someone to understand you is the height of immaturity. we should seek more to understand others than to be understood. the world owes us nothing, but we live in it,and should learn to adapt to it, not the other way around.
i find taiwan women to be utterly selfish and self centered. lately i look at them with a mild disgust, despite their physical beauty.
ain't no pussy worth their crap.

  1. I truly hate to say this, BUT I think it is true. For some reason or the other they, most woman in Taiwan (It would be unfair to say all woman in Taiwan) have not been told that there is not really a knight in shining armor coming to sweep them away to never-never land. And by God, please help the man who tends to be anything else. Adventurous, fun loving, curious; these are all no-nos.
They will shower you with things that you do not need or did not ask for..... This is quite cool at times. You may however not see much enthusiasm when giving them something. It is simple; they are lovely girls, great lovers and can be really nice. Just as long as it fits into what they perceive to be correct. The saying goes: "Hell has no fury as............" It should read: "Hell has no fury as a Taiwanese woman not getting her way." The smallest inconceivable little thing can set of an outburst that could only be described as utterly childish, uncivilized and, for the lack of words, stupid. And for some reason you will be the one apologizing for this. If you have been in this kind of situation you will understand what I mean. If not, it defies explanation. These little hissy fits have also been known to carry on for hours, if not days. If you think a humble apology will suffice – forget about it. They are also NEVER forgotten.
Spoiled? YES!! Open minded? NO!! And for your own sanity; DON"T move the cheese!!!!! (Who moved my Cheese?) Change is not big on their agendas.
So if you are unwilling to be kept in a little cage, like a dog in Taiwan, and jump to every command, even those that she has not told you about but should have known existed, leave them alone. Your stay in Taiwan will be a lot more rewarding.

  3. I have been here in Taiwan for 16 years. I was married to a Taiwanese woman and I'm dating one now. I have to say that I agree with the above posts 100%.

  4. sorry to hear you had some bad experiences. but don't let them get the best of you. keep the faith, even if they accuse you of fantasing about a woman who doesn't exist. sometimes it's better to hope than to have.
in the end, the only person who loves us is God. that was hard for me to accept when i was younger, but it comforts me now.
    take care.

  6. lynn,
i'm really sorry to hear about your situation. i cannot "out" people by name. my advice, confront this woman, tell her to get lost. do this in front of your husband. tell your husband how he is hurting his children for sex.
